The Lord knew what He was doing when He sent James and his family to Calvary. Growing up in a nurturing and strong environment, such as the one on 10 MLK Jr Ave, it was no accident that our paths would cross at a very early age. Quickly learning that both of us were on-going products of similar, Bible based, Christ-centered, and Southern households, it is no wonder we found ourselves a part of many of the same programs, events, festivities, outings, other sundry church functions. Attending rival high schools, we played and competed vigilantly, until Sunday came, when all was well again. Moreover, since there is no such existence of coincidence in the Kingdom of God, it was by divine order that we attended Morehouse College together, where we continued to carry out the Spirit of our home church’s Covenant and the principles of God’s Word.
