James and I lived a few blocks away from each other in Roxbury, NJ and we have known each other since high school. I am very grateful that James was able to bring me into the Calvary Baptist Church family at that time. I will never forget my first job which was carpooling with James to work a summer camp before college started. I think all of our paychecks that summer went to taylor ham & egg sandwiches in the AM and KFC in the PM just to beat each workday. During the early college years, countless summertime days back in NJ were spent battling over college football games and completing yard work. While James was at Emory University, he also helped me with my transition to Atlanta and Emory for graduate school.
