James and I grew up together. I've known him all my life. I met Amanda for the first time when they began dating. James brought Amanda over to their house for a cookout and had said something to Amanda that she clearly did not agree with. Amanda gracefully told him that she disagreed with his point and James walked away, shaking his head. That's when I knew she was the one. I immediately went over to Amanda, told her I liked her and that I thought no one was better for James than she was. Amanda told me she has no problem expressing herself, which I thought was perfect because James has always been notorious for doing the same. Amanda and James say what they mean, mean what they say. There has never been a more perfect couple.
